blog post 7

It is a difficult question and I do not know how to answer.

I study a musical instrument.

How can your specialization affect the world?

My specialization is the viola, I am a musician. Music affects the world, because we are sound beings. Music is part of everything, in cinema, television, cinema, radio, commercials, etc. If we pay attention there is always something that sounds around us, we can say that we are music and everything that surrounds us is.

How do you see yourself in this process?

The truth is that I look quite far away, but on more than one occasion I have been moved when I play my instrument or when I dance. I won a literature contest and I couldn't believe it made the jury and everyone who reads my poetry cry.

I don't know how to make the world a better place, and it has never been my goal to survive and try to get excited about everything I do.

What makes your director something that contributes to the benefit of the world?

The viola has a high cost and is made by cutting down trees. Its strings are made of silver and the bow is made of horsetail. The simple fact of having the instrument harms the world and nature to satisfy the luxury and pleasure of others. I really don't know what benefit it brings besides being able to sing with him.

“Y así, me arranque el corazón

 lanzándolo a los cuervos;

 para por fin sentirme amado”

(Excerpt from a distress letter
2nd place, Latin American literature contest.)

I answer

Hello everyone, here is post no. 6

How many subjects have you obtained this semester?

This semester I have had 8 subjects of the race

What was your favorite? Because you like it?

None, the truth is that I did not like this year. I started this year to study another more interesting career.

Do you think it made a real contribution to your career?

No, the truth is that he has not contributed anything this year. The university is still testing an online system making many mistakes and without the intention of moving forward, having many examples of online education worldwide.

Was the content interesting?

No, content from the last century is repeated. Nothing that creates a change in the student perspective. All contents can be learned online and through YouTube videos

Mention the positives and negatives (if applicable).

I don't have many aspects to mention, because I didn't like it at all this year.

--.--

I'm working and it's very entertaining, it's a very interesting new job. Also, I started taking different courses and studying another career online, it's amazing because I can take classes in classrooms in different parts of the world.

Roberto Diaz is a Chilean violist based in the USA. President / Director of Curtis Institute of Music, one of the largest music institutes in existence today.

I admire Roberto, as he is a world benchmark for the instrument. After finishing school, he decided to study another career, but finally music called into his life, allowing him to meet one of the most important violists of the century. Not only is he a great viola player, but he is also a teacher and director of a great school.

Roberto constantly comes to Chile and organizes masterclasses where he openly presents all his knowledge and experiences. I have been able to participate in two.

Having the opportunity to see another Chilean violist who has triumphed and is recognized worldwide is a privilege for any musician of this time.

I hope that in the future I will be able to meet the institute that he directs in the city of Philadelphia, tour the stages and listen to a great concert.

Naked my skin trembled, many eyes watched me

Naked my skin trembled, many eyes watched me

One night I read a post on the internet, they needed models for drawing classes. They offered good money to pose for art students in a class. The work was about modeling for students in human body drawing classes. Call on the phone and arrange a meeting, I had to be naked with one or two other people while the students drew sketches of the different poses we did. I was in various workshops and artistic centers. I was entering a white room with many white sheets and great lighting. One day I entered a room with a large pedestal and I could see a friend, when I looked at her I did not know what to do, she was very nervous and I laughed very hard. After class ended we went out for a coffee, she couldn't believe that I was working as a nude model for art classes, I told her it was good money and little time. I was working on this for a year, I had fun and met a lot of people, sometimes they gave me their sketches or drawings and even some of them.

For me it means something very interesting and funy.

What is your favorite technology?

What is your favorite technology?

My favorite technology is my cell phone

What is it?

It is a small and portable electronic device

When did you get it?

I just bought the current one less than a month ago. But I've had a cell phone for over 10 years

How often do you use it?

I use it every day for many hours a day for different activities and tasks

Because you like it?

Because it is small, portable and in which I can store a lot of information, in addition to being used for different daily tasks and it helps me to be connected with the rest of the world.

Can you live without it?

It is just a device, it would not die if lost or broken. I worry more about not having air, food or water to drink.

why.......

I study music interpretation. I study it out of obligation and ego. My dream job as a child was to be an opera singer and writer.

Growing up, I had the option of studying medicine. But I won a full scholarship to study arts, so I won another and another. I was able to travel and meet many people for these scholarships and for studying arts.

The truth is I never wanted to study this and I still wonder if I want to. I had a chance and took it. TIME and life have taken charge of taking me to different places.

My time at the university has not been very good. I came in just for a challenge and I stayed. Sometimes I stop studying and I go very far, I try to do other things, but I always come back. It's like a magnet or a brand of heroin that I can't give up.

I do not think I dedicate myself to this, and I am still looking for what would be my ideal job. I hope to find it one day.
